PGI Chandigarh is in the second place in the NIRF ranking

Chandigarh: Institute of Education and Postgraduate Medical Research (PGimer) on Thursday the rank of the second best medical Institute in NIRF-2021 was released by the Ministry of Human Resources Development.

The Ministers of Education of the Union, Dharmendra Pradhan, announced the NIRF-2021 rating on Thursday, where pirimers competed with 118 institutions from all over the country under the medical category.

AIIMS, New Delhi, has secured the first position in the category while CMC in Vellore has been ranked third.
Pgimer scored 82.62 this year, increasing the total score of 2.6 points from last year.

Pgimer has pocketed the same position in NIRF ranking in 2020, 2019 and 2018 as well.
