Mumbai: Senior Executive Pharmaceutical Companies have been arrested for allegedly stealing business secrets, including a list of clients, and using information to launch their startup.
The defendant, Satyen Roy (45), who has joined the medical equipment manufacturing company as a vice president of stealing a product blueprint and client database, and quit the company in seven months to join, cyber police officials said.
Roy, who was running around, was arrested recently from a hotel in Ahmedabad.
Roy hid in a Ahmedabad hotel with his wife and child, the officials of the cyber police station in the Kurla bandra complex.
The police said that they were looking for two other employees from the Pharmaceutical Secretary of the Company and its sales manager – to Connifing with Roy by helping him get a blueprint of various company departments.
Before he was arrested at Ahmedabad, Roy was in the city-hopping spree.

After stealing the company’s secret, he allegedly tried to tarnish the name of the company Pharma, said an official.

He offered to sell the same product at lower prices,” the official said.
