Copenhagen: In a small town on the seaside of the Blokhus in Denmark, the highest sandcastle in the world has been completed, weighs almost 5,000 tons and towering more than 20 meters, its designers say on Wednesday.
Standing 21.16 meters high (69.4 feet), more than three meters higher than the castle built in Germany in 2019, which previously held a title with 17.66 meters, according to Guinness World Records.
4,860 tons of sand formed a complicated decorated structure that reminded the pyramid.
The creator, Dutchman Wilfred Stijer, who was assisted by 30 of the best sand sculptors in the world, wanted the castle to represent the power of Coronavirus novel over the world from the beginning of the pandemic.
On top of the sandcastle is a virus model wearing a crown.
“This puts aside our lives everywhere,” Stijer said.
“This tells you what to do …
it tells you to stay away from your family and don’t go to a good place.
Don’t do activities, stay home,” he added.
To make it more cohesive, the sand contains about 10 percent of clay and the glue layer is applied after completion so that it can be charming with cold and windy conditions in the fall and winter.
Blokhus residents are also happy to see local features put in Sandcastle, such as windsurfing and layers, beach houses, fish, and lighthouses.
This castle is expected to stand until the severe frost appears, meaning that it must last until February or March.
