Mumbai: Police Marg DB has registered fir against Cityd-based Digital Studio CEO, who is also a famous photographer, for voyeurism.
He was booked to upload a dance profile video from a South Mumbai-based woman on the web portal without his consent.
Victims aged 40 years, a company executive, running the dance class.
This case was registered on July 19 after the victim found his profile video was shot by a photographer uploaded online with a naked woman.
The suspect has not been arrested because the police are still investigating this case.
DB Marg Police Senior Inspector Pradeep Khude confirmed that the FIR was registered based on the complaint of the woman.
“The photographer makes my profile video viral on an unpleasant site and even sells it to some foreign web agents without my knowledge,” said the victim in his complaint.
Photographers have been booked below the IPC 354 (C) section (voyeurism), 500 (slander) and under the IT Law.

Vaibhav victim lawyer Khanolkar said he met a photographer in 2019 because of shooting a dance video profile.
“The victim then learned that his profile video had been edited and uploaded on an unpleasant website without his consent.
He lost two marriage proposals after prospective applicants told him that they found his profile video along with unpleasant content,” said the lawyer.
