Prayagraj: The High Court of Allahabad on Wednesday issued a notification to the Central Government and the Director General, the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR) in Public Flower Litigation (PIL) looking for laboratory tests at the actions of ‘bacteriaophages’ found in’ Ganga Jal ” (Ganga Air) What is claimed to be a petition can treat Covid-19.

Hearing the Pil submitted by Arun Kumar Gupta, a senior advocate of the High Court of Allahabad, a division bench consisting of the acting chairman of Judge Munishwar Nath Bhandari and Justice Rajendra Kumar, directed to register the case ended in six weeks.
According to the Petitioner, he was studying the curative traits of the Ganges river for a long time and after the breakup of Covid-19 years ago, he began searching on the internet for the effects of the Ganges River in Covid-19 patients.
After doing research work, the applicant prepared a scientific paper entitled, “Covid-19 treatment by Ganga Jal” and sent the same via an email to the President of India on April 26, 2020 and the National Mission for Ganga.
The mission continued to the Ayush Ministry and the Director General, ICMR, but the paper was not considered because of the lack of scientific studies to validate claims.
The applicant is an advocate and clinical study and clinical data must be carried out or collected by the recognized medical institute.
Thus, Gupta approached the Institute of Institute of Indian Medical Sciences, Bhu, Varanasi and Dr.
Vijay Nath Mishra, Professor in the Neurology Department, Bhu approved scientific research and further clinical studies on the subject and theory.
In the petition, it was stated that the nasal spray was also prepared for the treatment of Coronavirus but permission for his clinical trial was waiting before the Ethics Committee, IMS, Bhu since the last seven months.
The applicant has alleged that ICMR has acted arbitrarily by not conducting a study of the theory proposed by the applicant and his doctor’s team, which is a violation of Article 14 (equality rights) and Article 21 (right to life) of the Indian Constitution.
According to the Petitioner, ICMR has been made by the Government of India to do and find research for the treatment of diseases but ICMR in a row failed to release its duties by not conducting research on theory and hypothesis.
The court passed this order on June 30.
