Pipe is placed, ordinary water supply to the sector along the Dwarka Expressway immediately

Gurgaon: About 30,000 families living in 18 new sectors along the Dwarka toll road will soon get a pipe water supply.
Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has completed the pipe laid for the 81-99 sector to supply drinking water.
Rwas and developers can apply for water supplies from Monday.
This project will be inaugurated on independence day by Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar and Governor Bandaru Dattatreya.
The wing of the GMDA water supply will receive applications from Rwas and developers for water connections from August 16.
According to GMDA officials, the 81-99 sector has 25 million liters of water requirements per day (MLD) at this time, which is expected to increase to 70.21.
MLD in the coming years.
To supply water to this area, GMDA has put a collective length of 51.3 km with a cost of Rs 76.2 Crore.
They will supply water from the Buddier and Basai Chandu Water Treatment Factory.
The City and State Planning Department (DTCP) has published around 229 licenses for housing and commercial real estate projects in these sectors, of which around 56 have received occupied certificates.
At present, people living in this sector are completely dependent on groundwater tankers and water for their daily needs.
Canal water supply in the new sector is one of the leading GMDA projects.
However, the project passed several deadlines.
“We have completed all the problems related to the water supply in the 81-99 sector and completed the work of placing pipes.
The developer of commercial projects and RWA housing communities can now apply for water connections,” said Chief Engineer GMDA Kadep Kumar.
The president has welcomed the displacement.
“People have lived in this area for the past two to three years without regular supply.
Water connection will be a big assistance and we hope the authorities will ensure the water supply to the new sector left at the beginning,” Praveen Malik from the United Gurgaon Association of New , the citizen group.
“We have paid each every month every month for water.
The water supply from GMDA will be more expensive,” said Yogesh Yadav, a resident of sector 90.Mukesh Sharma, who lives in sector 95, said the quality of the water included through Bad tanker.
“Most tankers are not hygienic and many children in the community have fallen ill because of the poor quality of water,” he said.
