Pipeline & Sump Wells: How Gnida Will Overcome Floods in Greater Noida

Large Noida: The authority of the development of the large Noida Industry (Gnida) has compiled two ways to drain the rainwater that accumulates in two areas that have obtained offspring to flood – KULESARA and ECOTECH 3.
While the authorities plan to dry the pipe that will drain the DSC Air Road In Kesara into the Hindon, they will establish four wells of stumps at Ecotech 3.
During this year’s rain, these two regions are easily flooded and proven to be a nightmare for passengers.
Waterlogging problems have become the cause of concern for the authorities, especially after increasing cases of dengue fever.
Gnida has identified Keesara as one of the bloody fever hotspots in the city.
Officials said the two projects were estimated to cost RS 12 Crore in total, the possibility of being ready by the next Monsun.
“There are repetitive complaints about waterlogging in DSC Road and at Ecotech 3.
This problem has occurred over the past few years.
After visiting the two sites, I have directed the project department to design a permanent plan to solve the problem,” said Narendra Bhoooshan, CEO of Gnida.
Therefore, General Manager AK Arora from the project department designed two plans.
“For DSC Road, we have planned a pipe between Halduni and Katesara.
With this, rain water will be drained into Hindo,” he said.
“On Ecotech 3, two wells will be activated automatically every time there is a waterlogging.
If the flood is intense, two will begin alone,” Arora added.
According to him, this will provide a permanent solution for waterlogging problems at two points.
While BhooShan has approved both projects, the technical department will examine further estimates.
The nod of it will open the way for the next tender and construction process.
