Pipile reiterated the constant decline in congress in state politics

Bhubaneswar: The spiral of the congressional party down, a trend seen in the state in the past 20 years, was once again reflected in the results of the election of the pipeliles announced on Sunday.
Both in terms of numbers and percentages, BJD and BJP increase their vote count in the pipelet compared to 2019 while it was sharp for Congress.
As expected, BJD maintained a chair in his fort with Rudra Pratap Maharathy candidate to get 96,972 votes (53.60%) at the Bypoll which was required by the death of his father and sat BJD Mla Pradeep Maharathy.
Pradeep has been surveyed 88,518 (50.66%).
Ashrit Pattasayak BJP also increases its calculation.
He got 76,056 votes (42%), improving his own performance in 2019 when he had secured 72,731 votes (41.62%).
However, Congress Candidate Bishwokeshan HariChandan Mohapatra only received 4,261 votes (or 2.4%) less than half of what candidates for Congress (Ajit Mangaraj) had been (9,809 or 5.63%) in 2019.
Mohapatra must lose his deposit.
“Congress accepts the decision of the person.
We will continue our struggle to protect the interests of the community” is how the leader of the congress Ganeshwar Behera responded to the pipeline verdict.
While the popularity of Naveen Patnaik has proven time and once again in all elections, both BJD and BJP have grown with the cost of congress, which is a re-renamade defeat of the same last year in Ballasore Bypoll where Congress was only surveyed 4,983 votes (3.07%) Compared to the 2019 party calculation in the chair when it gets 19,704 votes (12.45%).
The party slightly increased at Bypoll for Tirtol last year earned 17.24% compared to 13.73% in the 2019 General Election.
Analysts felt Congress failed to provide alternatives, both ideologically or in leadership to the powerful BJD.
“The party has fallen apart.
While nationally the problem was driven, in Odisha the situation was worse.
The party was not considered fit because local level leaders and cadres were frustrated,” said Gyana Ranjan Swain, a political science teacher at Ravenshaw University.
Congress, which is the main opposition from 2000 to 2019, ends one third of BJP increasing even when BJD led by Patnai-Patnen continues to appear stronger after each election.
In 2019, the congressional election shares fell 9.6% to 16.12% compared to 26% in 2014.
The last Congress ruled Odisha from 1995-2000 with 80 MLA at members of members 147 and votes of 39.08%.
The number of legislators shrank to 26 and selected shares dipped in 33.78% in 2000 elections when the BJP-BJD coalition under Naveen Patnik invaded power.
In 2004, the Grand Old Party increased slightly when the amount of MLAS rose to 38, (select 38.5%).
