Pirot island reopened after 5 years

Rajkot: This is the good news for wildlife lovers.
You can retrace your steps to pirot island after a five-year gap.
However, note that the condition applies before you start making a plan.
The island near Jamnagar which is popular as a place where sea biodiversity will be reopened for visitors, which will, however, must take permission from the Ministry of Forestry and agree to comply with certain conditions.
The Forestry Department has framed guidelines for visits arranged from this island with certain conditions after holding discussions with district administration, Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) and Indian coast guards.
The first group of Navanagar Navanagar Navanagar clubs visited this island on Wednesday, where members lift the national flag and celebrate Republican Day.
The island is closed for visitors from 2010 to 2015 and then again since December 2017.
Visitors were banned on the island after several complaints of intrusion and illegal activities appeared several years ago.
The forestry department then frame strict guidelines to curb illegal activities there.
The Ministry of Forestry will now declare the date according to the tidal conditions every month from February and so on to help tourists know about where they will be allowed to go to the island and submit a request for permission.
According to the Ministry of Forestry, more than 100 people will not be allowed in one day to visit the island.
The visit hours will be tight between sunrise and sunset.
In accordance with the rules, only three days in one two weeks will be given to visitors as in other days it is not possible to return before sunset due to ups and downs.
The visitors will be permitted to go to the island under the supervision of forest staff or guided by experts and also on the vessel just registered.
No visitors are allowed to go to the island on a fisherman for security reasons.
Range Forest Officer of Marine National Park, Pratik Joshi said, “We will allow visitors based on our framed guide.
Visitors must apply for three previous four days, which will be issued one day before the visit depends on the tidal situation.
We will not allow a group of more Of the 10 people on a trip and no more than 100 people on one day.
“Without any cellular network on the island and seeing the terrain, the Ministry of Forestry has asked the elders and small children not to visit the island.
The boat owner is equipped with a radio to send trouble signal.
