New Delhi: Minister of Trade and Piyush Industry Goyal has reviewed 59 problems in 20 critical infrastructure projects, with an anticipated investment value of almost Rs 2.7 Lakh Crore, official statement said on Friday.
The Minister issued direction and schedule to ensure the resolution of the issues delayed for the commissioning of the project that was on time, he said.
Among the projects reviewed including special transportation corridors along the East and West routes, and Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC), he said.
The Minister also stressed the importance of multi-level monitoring routine infrastructure projects that were important for economic growth and generation of employment in this country, the statement added.
“The minister reviews 59 problems in 20 important infrastructure projects with an anticipated investment value of almost Rs 2.7 lakh crore,” he said.
Senior Main Ministry officials including trains, petroleum and natural gas, road transportation and highways, environment, forests and climate change are also present at the meeting.
The meeting was held on June 29.
