PJK: ‘Many properties are sold to many owners, realtors’

Chandigarh: The survey report submitted by the UT government before Punjab and Haryana High Court in connection with the sustainable petition challenging registration of floors-wise reveals that many properties are sold to many owners and even for sales agents and developers.
The report was delivered by the head of the UT architect.
In one example, a property in the 22 sector has four sales actions, others have five.
A developer bought property and sold it to others.
The report also highlights the wise sales of floors at this property in various parts of the city.
The report stated that between August 28, 2016 and December 31, 2019, 891 housing properties in sectors 4 to 46 were sold at 50%, 30% and 20% bases for those who were outside the family of original owners or shareholders.
Of the 891 properties, the team did physical verification 281.
The report was delivered in the direction of the Supreme Court.
The High Court has now registered this case for September 20.
On September 6, SC directed Punjab and Haryana High Court to try disputes related to wise property sales in the early cities, preferably in two weeks.
SC also asked the UT government to submit property survey reports within a week to the High Court.
Previously, the APEX court had lived in the direction of the High Court related to the plantation office survey, where there had been stock transfers.
On July 27, the High Court directed the administration to carry out a sample survey of housing residential property housing sold in the city between 2016 and December 31, 2019, with 50%, 30% and 20% for someone outside the family from the original owner or shareholders.
The court has directed the main architect to conduct a survey within two weeks, improving August 11 as the next hearing date on litigation of public interest (pill) submitted by the sector 10 of the residents’ welfare associations about the maintenance of debris from debris.
City Resident Mamta Gupta submitted a special leave petition (SLP) in the Supreme Court.
Division of Judge L Nageswara Rao and Justice Bose Aniruddha, in the order of August 9, has issued a notification to respondents.
