PJK: School for class V, VI opened from September 2

Chandigarh: Class V and VI students can attend a government school directly since September 2, announcing Rublisjit Singh Brar, Director of School Education, UT, Tuesday.
The school has been opened for class VII-XII.
The announcement was made during a review meeting to discuss the program for the preparedness of the International Student Assessment (PISA) which considering the field trial was scheduled from September 15 to 38 in 38 schools.
According to instructions, it will be mandatory for students to secure the approval of parents to attend offline classes.
This will be the responsibility of parents to drop and pick up students.
Students must reach school at 8:30 a.m.
Classes will be held from 9am to 1:00 p.m.
The teacher will be available from 8am to 2 noon.
There is no midday food to be prepared at school.
Dry ransum will be given to students.
Students will not be allowed to play together.
Physical conference with mask is mandatory, officials said.
At the entrance gate, the temperature of the student will be checked.
The school must arrange sanitaryers in two to three places.
At a meeting in Pisa, UT Dharam PAL adviser to review the status of activities being carried out at school and discuss the problems faced during a pandemic.
The Chairman of the CBSE Manoj Ahuja said, “It is time for us to focus on increasing attendance at school and taking activities in mission mode that improve the ability to read our students.” Joseph Emanuel, Director of the National Project, Pisa, presented the field trial process and the role of the school coordinator.
Educational Secretary UT SS Gill said the principal / teacher must convince parents about reviving their children to schools.
