Bengaluru: Ashish is a star for Haryana Steelers when they beat Tamil Thalavas 37-29 in the Kabaddi Pro League on Tuesday.
Ashish All-Rounder has a night to remember, taking 16 points – including three Tackle points – and helps his Steelers team overcome the Thalavas unit that is difficult to jump to second place in the standings.
Ashish is well supported by his captain Vikash Kandola with eight points.
Coach Rakesh Kumar doesn’t even need to use people like Meetu and Rohit Gulia from the bench when the Haryana team once again shows why they are considered the best.
Haryana started the match at the front foot with the defender of the Duo Jaideep and Mohit in shape.
There is no place for surender tones in the early row Haryana as coach Rakesh Kumar was taken in Akshay.
Together, they distanced Tamil robbers while at the other end Vikash Kandola and Vinay brought points.
Steelers get everything first in the seventh minute to open the tin eight points.
But Thalavas slowly made a comeback through their robbers Ajinkya Pawar and Manjeet.
The first was very impressive in the do-or-die situation that helped Thalavascize the first half on a positive note.

Unfortunately for the Tamil team, they could not change the momentum to be all out when Haryana struggled back in the second round.
Ajinkya Pawar continued to take points for Thalavas, but Ashish’s super three points approached the fifth minute after restarting the balance once again to Steelers.
They retained five points with 10 minutes left in the match.
Thalavas Surjeet Singh and Ajinkya Pawar combined to produce super superiors with six minutes left to make it game two points.
But Ashish first produced a tackle at Ajinkya Pawar and then got a valuable attack point to help Haryana grab the others with the remaining five minutes.
It opened the advantage to six points once again.
Just like Thalavas felt another comeback, Ashish resulted in a super three-point attack to expand the tin to six points with a three-minute remaining.
He chose Super 10 and then secured a super three-point attack again in the final step of the match to secure a victory for Steelers.
The careless defense by Thalavas in the last attack means they walk away without points from the match.
