Bengaluru: Captain Maninder Singh LED from the front as defending champion Bengal Warriors defeated Tamil Thalavas 37-28 in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) match on Thursday.
Skipper Maninder received Super 10 (12 points) while Amit Narwal defenders and Ran Singh controlled the defense to stop their two matches.
The victory also ended Thalavas’s invincible run.
Thalavas began at the front foot with their combination of defense from Surjeet and Sagar handling Maninder.
