PKL: Maninder Singh Helps Bengal Warrior Beat Tamil Thalavas

Bengaluru: Captain Maninder Singh LED from the front as defending champion Bengal Warriors defeated Tamil Thalavas 37-28 in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) match on Thursday.
Skipper Maninder received Super 10 (12 points) while Amit Narwal defenders and Ran Singh controlled the defense to stop their two matches.
The victory also ended Thalavas’s invincible run.
Thalavas began at the front foot with their combination of defense from Surjeet and Sagar handling Maninder.
Who set the tone for the starting minute with Manjeet robbing wisely at the other.
But narwal produced an amazing super tackle in the fifth minute to change the balance of power.
The defending champion was built on momentum and quickly reduced Thalava men above the mat.
Surjeet produced two super tackles to take 5 but Bengal finally got ‘all out’ with seven minutes to the interval.
Thalivas continues to look for a more proactive side even though it is left behind and introduces the Super-Sub-Ajinkya Pawar to add more fire in the Raiding Department.
Half ending 20-16 supporting Bengal.
Bengal maintained a 6-point lead at the first time but it was just a matter of time before the two teams tried something ambitious.
Ran Singh, returned to the mat after a long injury pattern, produced an amazing tackle in the left corner for Bengal to trigger ‘all out’.
Bengal opened the advantage of 11 points with seven minutes left because Amit Narwal reached high 5.
The defending champion made sure there was no slip up in the dying minute to win the match comfortably.
