Bengaluru: Raider Naveen Kumar starred in his team as Dabang Delhi KC beat U Mumba 31-27 in the Pro Kabaddi League match on Friday.
Kumar took 17 points and was a big difference in a tight fighting contest that saw you lead Mumba for a long time.
Raiders, including Kumar, have a very slow start to the game with both sets of defenders keeping high lines and don’t even allow bonus points.
Mumbai Raiders Abhishek Singh and Ajit Kumar also had a little luck and the score was bound 5-5 after the first 10 minutes.
Delhi changed the gear towards part time, Kumar once again played a role, and had reduced Mumba to a man on the mat.

The first half saw not everything and ended 12-10 in supporting Mumbai.

However, Kumar was not the mood to let Mumbai escape with the lead and his successful raid helped Delhi claim everything in the 10th minute to make the score even at 20-20.
Kumar then chose Super 10 with seven minutes left in the match and then followed up with a super three-point attack that took the match from U Mumba.
Although some ridiculous defensive errors from Senior Manjeet Chhillar and Jeeva Kumar, Delhi held firmly at the last minute to secure an important victory.
