Vasco: President of Goa Parshuram Sonurlekar filed a complaint with the civilian Suppple Department against the Ransum store because it illegally sold food grains to wholesalers in Mormugao Taluka.
NGOs have claimed and circulated videos, where a man looks to take grain sacks from the community.
When asked by members of NGOs, they were told that grains were taken to make flour, Sonurlekar said.
When asked with people who bought illegal food, he revealed that he had bought it from the community without a ration card and the money would be paid to the owner, Sonurlekar added.
