Chennai: Ambitious Marina Beach Beauty stopped, with corporations and police quoting legal and order problems.
The setting of 900 smart carts and removal of fish encroachment and vendors from the jam loop road and larger Chennai corporate officials said they would act only after the direction of the court.

A senior corporate official said that all trial orders had previously been challenged.
“We started the entire project as a court monitored one.
We waited for court referrals about further action,” the official said.
