Plan for 8,500 Smart College Classrooms in Karnataka

Bengaluru: The state government will add smarter classrooms, equipped with laptops and tablets, this academic year.
Deputy Minister of CN Chairman Ashwath Narayan said on Saturday that the government had set the conversion target of 8,500 regular classrooms in higher education institutions into smart.
“From here, 2,500 was launched,” said Narayan, who held a higher education portfolio.
He spoke at an event where he distributed free tablets to Malleswaram students in first grade government.
The computer lab is also opened on campus.
“The government is concerned with digital education to ensure the health, safety, and learning of students in this uncertain Pandemic crisis,” Narayan said, who was Malleswaram Mla.
He said that to facilitate digital learning, the government has distributed 1.1 laptops for degree students in the past year at a cost of Rs 330 Crore.
In the current academic year, a 1.6 lakh tablet was given to students from a bachelor’s degree, polytechnic, college engineering.

Furthermore, to make digital education reality, the government creates an alternative teaching learning system.
This consists of the best content on each topic; 3.5 class lakh developed by the Faculty of Higher Education Department has been uploaded.
