Plan to change Delhi to become a global city in 2047

New Delhi: Initiative “Delhi @ 2047”, which aims to facilitate partnerships with the private sector, CSR initiatives and philanthropic organizations to make Global City’s capital in 2047, launched by the Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday.
Through this initiative, ideas will be sought from various organizations working in various fields and expertise to change Delhi into a city where even the poorest of the poor will live very respectfully and comfort and governance will change and oriented to solutions.
Jasmine Shah, Deputy Chairperson, Commission Dialogue and Development (DDC) attended the event along with representatives from several major corporate houses.
Delhi @ 2047 initiative will be held by DDC, which is a think-tank policy from the Delhi government.
In the budget for 2021-22, Kejriwal has launched a brave vision for Delhi in 2047.

“We must develop Delhi as a global city.

CM added, “The AAP government has changed education and the health sector and improves the power supply chain.
We have saved money in each project and made the government financially sustainable and responsible.” He stressed that the AAP government would make Delhi road equivalent to European standards, Improve the transportation sector and run it on electricity.
“We are cleaning up encroachment and reviving the lake.
There are large-scale projects to make parks and gardens involving local communities and rwas.
We must work on solid waste management.
If international tenders are issued, hoarding companies will be ready to clean Delhi.

We need to get rid of air and water pollution.
We need to clean Yamuna.
But we can’t do it myself.
We need help from residents and corporations, “Kejriwal said.
Delhi @ 2047 initiative began with three focus projects, including “Khelo Dilli” which aims to build a world-class playground in government schools, “City of Lakes” where more than 1,000 waterbodies will be rejuvenated and bridged Digital Divide in Schools ,
