Pune: Minister of Health State Rajesh Tope said on Tuesday that a new strategy for easing of restrictions was being prepared for districts with a covid pepositives lower than 1% weekly (WPR) or lower than the country average (4.5% this week) , The proposal will be submitted this week for the final approval of the minister’s chairman, he said.
Unless the district with high-weekhead counselor levels, the rest will be allowed to relax the limits, allowing business and extended hours of hours.
At present, almost all districts and regions are under Level-3 limitations.

Restaurants, bars and food courts are not allowed to have customers on weekends.
“The minister’s chairman has directed the public health department to prepare a proposal.

Full vaccination coverage will also be the main criteria for casual sidewalks in the sectors, the minister said, adding that there were nearly 13 to 14 districts (out of a total of 35) who had recorded WPR 0.1% -0.9%.

He said there were also recording districts (at least three weeks) WPR above 1%, but lower than the average country.
These districts can be placed in a separate category.
Higher Wpr districts can also be considered for various categories of relaxation, he said.
