Pune: Minister of Health State Rajesh Tope said on Tuesday that a new strategy for easing of restrictions was being prepared for districts with a covid pepositives lower than 1% weekly (WPR) or lower than the country average (4.5% this week) , The proposal will be submitted this week for the final approval of the minister’s chairman, he said.

These districts can be placed in a separate category.
Higher Wpr districts can also be considered for various categories of relaxation, he said.
Tope said, “We have submitted extensive outlines and based on local conditions, districts can call after assessing their WPR.
