Ghaziabad: Given those who died of Covid, the Ghaziabad government and the Ministry of Forestry have decided to develop ‘SMRITI UPVAN’ in the villages.
As planned, the deceased relatives will be offered land where they can plant young trees with the late written name on the board.

About 225 villages will be targeted, where land in 10 villages has been identified.
“Pandemic has taken a close and loved ones from many people.
As a sign of respect for those who died, we have found the idea of planting puppies in their names,” said RK Singh, the Hakivon District.
“This will have a very large sentimental value for temporary relatives at the same time will encourage people to take planting trees in large quantities.
This will be the responsibility of relatives to take plant maintenance and there will also be a board in front by bearing the broadcast name.
