Greater Noida: After the toy garden and ambitious film city, the Yamuna Expressway authority has decided to develop a plastic merchandise processing park in the region.
The Yeida CEO has agreed to the principle to provide 100 hectares of land in sector 10 for the project, following the request by the All India Plastic Industry Association (AIPIA).
Officials said the process of buying land is currently underway and is expected to be carried out in December this year, after cleaning the detailed project report (DPR) by authority.
Products such as PVC pipes, agriculture and medical equipment will be produced at 150-200 units here.
Investment worth RS 7,000 Crore is expected in projects that can produce employment opportunities for 15,000 young men.
“The park will be developed in 100 hectares of land in sector 10.
I have asked the DPR from the Plastic Association businessman about this.
Meanwhile, the process of purchasing land for the project is ongoing.
This process is expected to be completed in December 2021,” said CEO Yeida Arun VIR Singh .
“After preparing, this project is expected to have an investment of Rs 7,500 Crore and can produce work for 15,000 people.” CEO Singh said that the industry was being developed in a cluster in the Yamuna Expressway area, where land was committed to park medical devices, city toys, garden crafts, park center parks, electric vehicles, garden clothing and clothing.
