Panaji: The TMC-MGP combine, trying to get a foothold in the scope of the country’s election, released a manifesto for the forthcoming elections.
Among the promises two lakh jobs, 80% reservation for Goans in the private sector and 33% reservation for women in all jobs.
While promising to grow the country’s economy by 10% per year, the alliance partners also dished Doles and SOP for women and youth.
It has promised to scrap three linear projects come on in and around the National Park Mollem and Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary while also promising to uphold the rights of Goa in water sharing dispute Mhadei.
Opening manifesto, TMC Rajya Sabha MP Luizinho Faleiro said that two lakh new jobs will be created in the private sector with 80% reservation for Goans.
TMC President Kiran Kandolkar state said that 10,000 vacancies in the government sector is likely to be opened in the next three years.
TMC has promised to transfer the direct benefit of Rs 5,000 per month for a woman of any of her household under Griha Laxmi scheme and Rs 20 lakh for a free mortgage loan Goan youth under Yuva Shakti scheme.
In addition, TMC-MGP has pledged to roll-out “unemployment insurance” for six months of the year for youth.
Faleiro said that the budget allocation for health and education sectors will be doubled with two new medical colleges were built along with upgraded facilities in government schools.
He also said that the TMC-MGP will ensure 33% reservation for women in all jobs Goan including the private sector and 50% reservation for women in all local bodies.
