MEERUT: A 32-year-old man, Shaiukat Ali, was killed during the daylight in front of several people in a busy market in Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
The bone cold incident was fully captured on CCTV cameras installed in nearby stores and some murder videos began to make rounds on the next social media.
In one of the Garb videos, Haroon Ahmed, who was accused of accused, can be seen walking to Ali, who stood beside several people in the empty plot.
Ahmed, in a white shirt, can be seen crashing towards Ali, a local jewelry, with a knife and sliting his throat and stabbing him repeatedly.
Ahmed then can be found pulled away by several spectators who can be seen punching him.
In the recording of another incident, a e-rickshaw driver can be seen escaping from the place after seeing Ahmed’s attack on Ali while a shopkeeper quickly lowered his shop shutter.
Speaking to Toi, Saharanpur SP (City) Rajesh Kumar said, “We have ordered Haroon Ahmed because of murder.
He admitted that he was looking for the opportunity to kill Shaukat Ali.
He alleged that Shaukat had a prohibited relationship with his wife.
The accusations will be sent to prison Tuesday.
