Mathura: A petition has been put forward in a local court looking for a ban on Namaz at Shahi Idgah, located close to the temple at Shri Krishna Janmasthan in Mathura.
In the past few months, several organizations have transferred a court seeking idgah deletion, claiming it was built in the “real birthplace” from Lord Krishna.
“The court has been asked to pass the command command that holds the Muslim community from offering Namaz in Shahi Masjid Idgah and on the adjacent road,” Mahendra Pratap Singh said, the Petitioner said.
He said that the idgah wall still had signs of Om, Swastik and Shesh Nag, added that the mosque management tried to remove it.
