Gurgaon: Mayor of Madhu Azad on Tuesday directing the company’s Municipal Gurgaon (MCG) company to survey HSIINC and HSVP empty plots within the MCG limit and identify projects intended.
In a meeting led by the Mayor on Tuesday, it was shown that various plots left blank in the MCG limit had become a disposal site and several plots were illegally occupied.
The Mayor gave instructions at a meeting with MCG officials and told them to check the status of the proposal approved at the last house meeting held on July 31.
After the survey was completed, MCG would continue with the planned development work for this empty plot, said the mayor.
For example, MCG will conduct a survey and identify whether the land is intended for pharmacies, community centers, parks or other public spaces.
The mayor says that MCG will then work towards the development of these projects.
“There are a number of empty plots of HSVP and other institutions within the MCG limit.
It is illegally occupied or has become the reason for waste disposal.
I have directed MCG officials to check with the department concerned to identify projects planned on this empty plot.
If the agency is Agree, we can develop a green area or make public space on them so that the empty plot does not remain a sight, “Azad said.
Noted an increase in the unauthorized structure that emerged in the land of MCG, the mayor also directed MCG officials to clean up encroachment on MCG and the government priority.
The mayor also said that people illegally occupy government land by maintaining idols and turning them into religious sites and then gradually violating the limits around it.
In the proposal to build a citizen facilitation center in each ward, MCG officials told the mayor that staff, laptops, furniture, and other equipment were being obtained.
In addition, the mayor said at the meeting that MCG should not give permission for the cellular towers in the population.
The mayor also said that government schools in various wards were in a dilapidated condition that he would also hold a meeting with the Ministry of Education.
