Damarane Singer Lata Mangeshkar has created a “big vacuum in the Music Arena of the Subsidiary”, Bangladeshi PM, Sheikh Hasina said on Sunday, when he remembered ‘musical empress’ with gratitude for his role in the 1971 liberation war against Pakistan.
“Lata Ji, together with fellow Indian artists, contributed greatly to promoting the causes of Bangladesh,” said Press Release of the Government of Bangladesh.
