New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a high-level meeting with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of South Sumatra Amit Shah and NSA Ajit Doval.
During the meeting, the discussion was held on futuristic challenges in the defense sector and equipped the armed forces with modern equipment, Ani news agency reported the source quoting.
The meeting came in the background of a drone attack at the Air Force Station last week.
In what was the first example of Pakistani-based terrorists who mobilized drones to attack vital installations, two bombs were dropped at the IAF station in Jammu at the early hours of the week, causing a small injury to two pilots.
The explosion lasts around 1.40 in the morning in six minutes each other.
The first explosion tore the roof of a one-story building in the airport technical area was asked by IAF in the Satwari area on the outskirts of the city.
