PM inaugurated 23 projects worth RS 17.5K Crore in Uttarakhand

Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in THSD-AY discussed a general meeting in Uttarakhand’s Haldwani and inaugurated 23 Development Projects 23 worth of Rs 17,500 Cro-Re in the state.
Road projects are around RS 9,000 Crore of this number, with three different stretches of the Dham All-Weather Road char – which recently widened – inaugurated by PM.
During his speech, Modi emphasized the importance of development projects initiated by the central government in Uttarakhand, including road projects all ambitious weather, which aims to connect four Himalayan -Badrinath Temple, Kedarnath – through almost 900 km widening exercises expected to cost more from Rs 12,000 Crore.

Among other projects that were inaugurated by PM on Thursday were Nagina-Kashipur National Highway, Suring Gad Hydel Project and Sewage worked under the Namami Gange Program in Nainital.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated the Lakhwar project, which imagined the construction of a 204-meter-high concrete dam across Yamuna near Lohari Village in Dehradun.
