Gorakhpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit the Siddhathnagnar District for the inauguration ‘PT Madhav Prasad Tripathi’ Medical College in this district and to formalize eight other medical colleges in virtual mode on 30 July.
Preparations are being made for possible visits and public meetings to be held in front of the district prison, Satish Dwivedi’s basic education minister said.
Given the possibility of PM Modi’s visit, on Thursday, MLA Raghvendra Pratap Singh checked preparations and asked about security arrangements made for PM visits from district judges.
On Wednesday, MP Jagdambika Pal, Minister of Primary Education Satish Dwivedi along with other head officials reviewed preparations.
According to the source, PM Modi will reach a public meeting place with a helicopter.
Chairman of the Yogi Adityanath Minister and Anandiben Governor Patel will also reach there with a separate helicopter to welcome PM.
The minister’s chairman can also visit the district between Friday and Sunday to take preparation stock for PM visits.
CM Yogi has announced a medical college in Siddharthnagar on behalf of PT Madhav Prasad Tripathi, also known as Madhav Babu, in 2018.
He is a founding member of Jansanth and born in Bansi in 1912.
