(With PIC) Kanpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated and praised 12-year-old Kavya Ghatampam’s efforts to reveal the mystery of Indian freedom incidents that were never heard.
Kavya, a ViIith class student from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jalalpur Nagin at Kanpur Dehat, secured first rank in an online competition by describing the struggle between the Britons and the villagers in a temple in Ghatami during the time before independence.
Kavya, the daughter of the Mannilal farmer, a resident of Jawahar Nagar, Ghatampur, participated in the online writing competition organized by the National Book Trust and the Central Government on Independence Day.
Through the article, Kavya said that the British was present on August 14, 1947 in a temple in Ghatampur.

Kavya further told reporters that in compiling the article, his teacher about Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Harmeet Kaur helped and guided him a lot.
