New Delhi: Transformation in the Indian education sector is not only policy-based but also based on participation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday after launching several academic initiatives, which he said would play an important role in forming the future of the country.
Modi is overcoming the ‘Shikshak Parv’ prime convenses 10 days through video conferencing, where he said the teaching and learning process in the country must be continuously redefined and redesigned to make a world class Indian education sector.
As part of the Shikshak parv whose theme is ‘quality and sustainable schools: learning from schools in India’, PM launched national digital architecture (N-Dear), which he said tended to play a major role in eradicating inequality in education and modernization.
He also launched an Indian signal language dictionary (embedded sign language video and text for hearing loss, in accordance with universal learning designs), book talks (audiobooks for visual disorders), school quality assurance and CBSE training program assessment framework, Nishtha Teacher for Portal Nipun Bharat and Vidyanjali (to facilitate the volunteer of education / donors / contributors to CSR for school development).

“If we are in the midst of the transformation period, fortunately, we also have a modern and futuristic new national education policy.
This transformation is not only a policy-based but based on participation,” he said.
PM Modi praised the contribution of academics, experts and teachers at each stage in the formulation of NEP and its implementation.
He urged everyone to take this participation to a new level and involve the community in it.
“During Covid, we have witnessed the ability of our education sector.
There are many challenges, but you complete all.
Online class, group video calls, online examinations are not heard by many people before,” he added.
PM also remembers the performance of our athletes in the recent Olympics and Paralympics and expressed happiness that athletes have received their requests that every player visited at least 75 schools during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
“It will inspire students and many will be encouraged to take sports as careers,” he said.
