Previously on that day, PM Modi expressed its deepest condolences for the deaths of people because of a lightning strike in several Rajasthan districts.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Jaipur, Anand Srivastava said that 29 people were saved from the Fort Amer area after lightning hit them.
“With the help of locals, we saved around 29 people from the Fort Amer area after lightning hit them.
They were taken to the hospital.
Of these, 16 people have died,” he added.
