PM Modi Announces Rs 2 Lakh Ex-Gratia for Kin of People Killed in Rajasthan Lightning Strikes

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday announced ex-gratia each of the RS 2 Lakh each of the National Prime Minister’s assistance funds (PMNRF) to Kin next of those who lost their lives due to lightning strikes in the parts of Rajasthan , The prime minister also announced Rs 50,000 from PMNRF for injured people.

Chief of Minister Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot on Sunday also announced Ex-Gratia each Rs 5 Lakh against their relatives who lost their lives due to lightning strikes in the state.
He also ordered compensation for injured.
Previously on that day, PM Modi expressed its deepest condolences for the deaths of people because of a lightning strike in several Rajasthan districts.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Jaipur, Anand Srivastava said that 29 people were saved from the Fort Amer area after lightning hit them.
“With the help of locals, we saved around 29 people from the Fort Amer area after lightning hit them.
They were taken to the hospital.
Of these, 16 people have died,” he added.
