New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the startup would be the new Indian backbone and said that January 16 will be celebrated as the ‘National Startup Day’.
“The start-up will be a new backbone of India.
When India completes 100 years of independence, startup will have an important role.
State innovators make the country proud globally,” said Prime Minister during startup in various kinds.

The Prime Minister also highlights that Indian startup ecosystem “constantly found and improved himself.” “This is in a state of learning and constant change,” PM added.
“I congratulate all startups, all young men, who are involved in raising the Indian flag in the world start-up because this culture will reach the parts far from the country,” he added.
PM Modi also said, “Indian Startups now work in 55 different industries.
Five years ago, India did not even have 500 startups! Today, that number has passed 60,000.” Believing in the ability and creativity of young people, said the Prime Minister, is the basis for the development of any country.
“India, today, believe in his youth and make a policy in line with the same thing,” added PM Modi.
