New Delhi: On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lifted the national flag and conveyed customary addresses to the nation from the Red Fortress in New Delhi.
Before that he examined the honorary guard, which was positioned directly in front of the National Flag across a ditch under the fort.
The GOC Delhi area conducted a prime minister to a salt that saluted where the guards between services and the joint police served public salut to him, after PM Modi which checked the guard.
For the first time, this year soon after the national flag was appointed by the Prime Minister, two 1V MI 17V Helicopters of the Indian Air Force bombarded flower petals.
On his arrival at the Red Fortress, the Prime Minister was accepted by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of State for the Defense Ajay Bhatt and Defense Secretary Dr.
Ajay Kumar.
Later, inter-service combined and Delhi police guard prescribed public salut to the prime minister.
After that, PM Modi checked the honor guard.
The Prime Minister has launched ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ from Sabarmati Ashramat Ahmedabad in Gujarat in March 2021 to celebrate 75 years of Indian independence.
The celebration will continue until August 15, 2023.
Meanwhile, security arrangements have been tightened in the national capital for the 75th Independence Day celebration on Sundays.
Control-drone technology has been deployed in sensitive areas in the national capital to thwart any unwanted incidents.
Meanwhile, farmers have proposed a tractor parade in the National Capital on Independence Day against the three agricultural laws introduced by the Central Government last year.
Speaking to Ani, a farmer said, “About 5,000 vehicles and 20,000 farmers will take part in the parade on Sunday.
We are ready to protest.
