Glasgow :: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met Microsoft Co-Founder Bill Gates on the sidelines of COP26 in Glasgow and discussed ways for further sustainable development.
Both leaders also discuss steps to reduce the effects of climate change.

Prime Minister Modi also met with Israeli partners Naphtali Bennett and discussed ways to deepen various cooperation between the two countries.
Previously today, PM Modi met Prime Minister Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
PM Modi along with British partners Boris Johnson today launched an infrastructure initiative for Tangguh Island countries (Iris).
PM Modi reaches Glasgow on Sundays to participate in the COP26 summit.
On Monday, PM Modi met Boris Johnson on the sidelines of COP26.
He stated that British PM had received his invitation to visit India by saying that he would plan his visit as soon as the situation allowed.
PM Modi also met with members of the Indian community in Glasgow to strengthen people-to-person bonds between the two countries.
COP26 is underway under the British presidency partnering with Italy.
