PM Modi Enjoys Telangana Pioneer’s’Green India Challenge’

HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated Rajya Sabha MP and TRS Pioneer Joginapally Santosh Kumar’s initiative’Green India Challenge’ programme to Improve green cover from the Nation.

In a letter written to this TRS MP, the prime minister requested him undertaking the initiative to maintain a cleaner and greener environment.
The PM in his letter stated”it’s the collective and individual duty of each citizen to depart a green footprint for posterity.
Endeavours such as’Green India Challenge can triumph only through people’s involvement,” Modi said.
The PM believed the’Vruksha Vedam’ publication could instruct people and particularly youth to comprehend the holistic connection between humanity and nature.
Green India Challenge initiative has been taken by Santosh Kumar on July 17, 2017 for improvement of green cover that has now spread across 20 countries in the nation such as Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, both Delhi and other countries.
It’s emerged as the largest effort in the nation by a person having over 10 crore saplings planted throughout the nation.
While devoting the PM due to his encouragement, recognition and support into Green India Challenge & Vruksha Vedam, the MP stated six decades back, there have been challenges such as the Ice Bucket struggle and Rice Bucket struggle.
A concept stuck in my head, why not we utilize such challenges because of environment protection and enhance green pay as climate fluctuations are a significant concern throughout the planet.
Telangana principal minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had started Telangana Ku Haritha Haram having a goal to enhance the green pay from present 24 percent to 33 percent.
The government attempts will also be giving positive effects, the MP stated.
