Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was inaugurated and dedicated to the nation of the Rani Kamlapati train station that developed in Bhopal on Monday.
The prime minister was in Bhopal on the occasion of ‘Janjiatya Gaurav Diwas’, celebrated at the birth of the birth of the Tribal Freedom Fighter Birsa Munda.
Rani Kamlapati Railway Station is the first world class model station in the country and has all the facilities available at the international airport.
This has been developed under public-private partnerships and built by private companies.
The total cost of the station project around Rs 450 Crore.

Escalators and lifts have been installed at the station to reach the platform.
The seating arrangement of 700 to 1,100 passengers has been made in an open concourse.
For information about train movements, the screenboards with various languages have been installed throughout the station.
The station will also boast the food court, restaurant, air-conditioned waiting room, hostel, VIP lounge.
About 160 CCTV cameras have also been installed at the station to maintain supervision all the time.
