New Delhi: Minister of Home Union Amit Shah said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was committed to honoring “true heroes” when he congratulated those who had been given the Padma Awards on Tuesday, at the time of the Republic of 73.

He made special attention about the BJP leader late and former Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Governor of Rajasthan Kalyan Singh, said he was “devoting his whole life to the interests of the country.” He provided an administration free of fear and public welfare oriented to the people while serving as Minister of Uttar Pradesh, he said.

He also remembers the Head of the Indian Defense Staff (CD) of the Bipin Rawat Gen who was killed in a helicopter accident along with his wife and 12 other military personnel in Tamil Nadu last month.
