PM Modi, Italian partners held talks, both stressed on international cooperation to overcome the Afghan crisis

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday talked with Italian partner Mario Draghi because both leaders emphasized the need for international cooperation, including at the G20 level, in handling security and humanitarian challenges arising from the spiral crisis in Afghanistan.

Modi Tweeted, “Speaking with Prime Minister Mario Draghi from Italy and discussed the need for a coordinated international response to the recent developments in Afghanistan.

The two leaders agreed to keep in touch on bilateral and global problems, especially in the situation in Afghanistan.
