New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday talked with Minister of Tamil Nadu M K Stalin after heavy rainfall in several parts of the country and convinced him about all possible support from the rescue center and assistance.
Heavy rain washing Chennai and the suburb of the city last night led to airlogging on Sundays and the authorities honed the initial flood to people because the three city reservoirs opened gradually to release the surplus of water.
Modi tweeted, “Talking with Tamil Nadu CM, Thiru @Mkstalin and discussing the situation after heavy rainfall in the part of the country.
Convincing all possible support from the center in rescue and assistance work.
I pray for everyone’s well-being and security.”
