PM Modi meets the NSAS Security Council attending the Delhi Regional Security dialogue about Afghanistan, putting a boost in zero tolerance against the abuse of the Afghanistan region

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met with Delhi security dialogants.
The head of the National Security Council of seven countries, who was in Delhi for regional security dialogue in Afghanistan organized by the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, collectively called for PM Modi after completion of dialogue.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for the focus of countries in the region for the need for inclusive government in Afghanistan and the attitude of zero tolerance about the Afghan region used by terrorist groups.
Describing four aspects, he said that countries in the region also need to focus on strategies to fight drug trafficking and weapons from Afghanistan and overcome the increasingly critical humanitarian crisis in a locked country.
In their comments on Prime Minister, senior security officers, representing Iranian nations, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, expressed their appreciation for Indian initiatives in regulating dialogue and quality of exchange.
They also convey the perspectives of each of their countries in the Afghan situation.
Prime Minister appreciates the participation of senior officials in Delhi security dialogue even though there are challenges caused by a pandemic.
“He emphasized four aspects that countries in the region need to focus, in the context of Afghanistan: the need for inclusive government; zero-tolerance attitude about the Afghan region used by terrorist groups; strategies to fight drug trafficking and arms from Afghanistan; and Handle a humanitarian crisis that is increasingly critical in Afghanistan, “PMO release said.
