PM Modi needs to decide Caste Census: Nitish

New Delhi: Head of Bihar Minister Nith Kumar on Monday threw a caste-based census problem in the central court, said it was for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to receive calls about each of the strength of caste.
After leading the delegation of all parties from Bihar for a meeting with PM to demand Hoble-wise practices, which was stopped in 1931, Nithish told reporters, “Prime Minister listened to all members of the delegation at Caste Census.
We urge PM to make the right decision on it .
We told him about how the resolution has passed in the state assembly twice on caste census.
“Interacting with reporters was marked by a rare view of the Bihar CM praising his opponent, Tejashwi RJD leader Yadav, because look at the idea of taking a delegation of all parties to the PM.
Yadav, on his side, thanked Kumar for heeding the suggestion.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave all members of the patient’s hearing delegation and “did not deny what we said (the need for the census of the caste)”.
“Bihar people and the whole country have the same opinion about this problem.
We thank PM for listening to us.
Now, he must make a decision about this,” said Minister of Bihar.
Although BJP members were not reluctant to be calculating caste, this party was alert to make a special commitment to hold one because the logistical nightmare was set to attend considering the nature of the task and complexity.
The source said that it certainly won’t be easy to manage with a ten-year-old census that has been made by all preparations.
Exercise has been postponed due to covid restrictions.
A part on BJP also seems worried about the possibility of such exercises putting a shovel in the project to knit the constituency of “Hindutva” constituency across the caste.
“A message is spreading in BIHAR that BJP oppose the caste-based census, wrong.
We have never opposed it.
However, the headcount clubing with a general census might be impossible,” said senior official and said a senior official added that the government could begin the process at the stage next.
Kumar said that it was a statement of the Minister of Man Discontacting the possibility of calculating the caste-based population that functions as a trigger for the move to regulate the delegation of all parties.
“It made us worry because there were riots among people.
Following the statement, all parties, including opposition, took the initiative to meet PM,” Kumar said.
He referred to Minister of Home Junior Nityanan and a written reply at Rajya Sabha in July that there was no proposal to release caste-based population data.
Kumar said all parties from Bihar spoke in one voice on the need for caste-based census and confirmed that statistics would help in formulating development schemes effectively because many of them did not benefit from their actual population.
Tejashwi Yadav said, “Our delegation calls PM not only for caste-based censuses in Bihar but throughout the country.
We are waiting for this decision about now.” Janak Ram BJP, which is part of the delegation, said PM heard the view of everyone like a “family guard”.
