Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Kedarnath on Friday morning and bid on prayer at Shiva Temple there.
The prime minister was scheduled to uncover the statue of 12 feet Adi Teacher Shankaracharaya and inaugurated the Samadhi who had been rebuilt from eighthecal fortification.
Historic visits will also see it inaugurate and put the Stone of the Reconstruction Project Foundation worth more than Rs 400 Crore at the Himalayan Temple.
Working on the statue of ShankaraCharya, weighing around 35 tons, it has begun in 2019.
Modi is accepted at Dehradun Airport by Uttarakhand Governor LT Gurmit Singh (RETD), Head of Minister of Pushkar Singh Dhami and Fellow cabinet Uniyal and Ganesh Joshi, in addition to the speaker assembly Uttarakhand Premachand Aggarwal.
Launching a statue will be channeled directly at 12 Jyotirlingas, four Mutts Shankaracharya (monastery), the place of birth and several leading temples throughout the country.
The reconstruction of the kedafuri is considered a Prime Minister’s dream project whose progress is reviewed personally by regularly.
