New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday offers prayers at Shri Teacher Ravidas Wishram Dham Mandir in Delhi’s Karol Bagh on the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti.
The prime minister interacts with worshipers and also participates in ‘Shabad Kirtan’ at the temple.
Sant Ravidas belongs to the Movement of Bhakti for 15 to 16th century and the chances of praise are included in the Granth Sahib teacher.
He was considered the founder of the 21st century Ravidassia religion.
Ravidas Jayanti was celebrated at Magh Purnima, which was a full moon day of the MEDAN MAGH according to the Hindu calendar.
