Lucknow: After paying a flower tribute to the senior BJP leader and first Kaly Minister Kalyan Singh, who died after a prolonged disease in the country’s capital on Saturday night, PM Narendra Modi said that the dead leader had spent his life.
Name ‘Kalyan’ by focusing on people’s welfare.
Modi, who arrived at Lucknow at around 10:35 a.m.
on Sunday and went straight to Singh Residence, said: “This is a great moment of sadness for all of us.
Kalyan Singh Ji’s parents named it Kalyan and he fulfilled this name by the way he lived his life.
Throughout his life he worked before Jan Kalyan or the welfare of the community.
He made Jan Kalyan his spell for life.
He dedicated his life to BJP and Jan Sangh for a bright ideology and future in the country.
“Some BJP leaders visited Singh’s house to give respect to him.
Navneet’s additional head secretary Sehgal said that Singh’s body was taken from the party office to the airport, from where the special air ambulance flew him to Aligarh at 3:45 a.m.
He was accompanied by CM Yogi, who will also be present for the funeral on Monday.
