New Delhi: Paying Tributes for Dalit Leaders and Founders of the Lok Jansakti Party Ram Vilas Paswan on his birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that his contribution to public services and empowering oppressed people will always be remembered.
A minister in the Modi government, Paswan died in October last year.
He belongs to the most experienced parliamentarians and has served as ministers in government led by various parties, ranging from socialist groups to Congress and BJP.
In a tweet mode said, “Today is the birth of the birth of my friend, late Ram Vilas Paswan Ji.
I really missed his presence.
He is one of the most experienced parliamentarians and administrators in India.
His contribution to public services and empowering downtrodden will always be remembered.
“Paswan’s death has caused the faction battle in his party with his son Chirag Paswan and his brother Pashupati Kumar Paras claimed to represent LJP.
Chirag is scheduled to launch Yatra from Hajipur, a traditional Sabha’s father’s seat, to raise party supporters around the cause.
