Jhansi: Former Cadet National Cadet (NCC) Prime Minister Narendra Narendra on Friday enrolled himself as a member of the first ‘NCC Alumni Association’ here during the peak event ‘Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv’.
Despite registering himself as the first member of the ‘NCC Alumni Association’ in the historic Jhansi fortress, the Prime Minister also launched an association expected to be increasingly aimed at the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and assisted in the nation’s development.
Many leading leaders in practical all fields of society whether it’s the armed forces, politics, industry, bureaucracy, art and culture or academics have emerged from the NCC.
Many have the desire to contribute to the nation’s development process through the NCC.
With the aim of providing a formal platform to enable NCC alumni to be re-connected with NCC, it was decided to establish the NCC alumni association.
The NCC alumni association is expected to meet the Lakh demand from the former NCC cadet.
The NCC Alumni Association is expected to advance the purpose of NCC and assist in the nation’s development.
“The NCC Alumni Association is open for all NCC alumni and its membership is very simple to obtain,” said the Ministry of Defense.
The process of registering and getting approval for fully online membership.
The same thing is now available on the website www.nccauto.gov.in/alumni which was made directly after PM Modi launched it.
RS 100 Payment must be made for a lifetime membership from the NCC Alumni Association which can also be paid online on this website.
The Prime Minister also dedicated to the program to improve simulation training facilities for all three NCC wings – soldiers, air and navy.
This will allow NCC cadets throughout the country to be trained in their respective regions.
For NCC Army Wings, the simulator shooting rifle is being arranged.
For air wings, the micro flying simulator is being arranged.
For sea wings, paddle simulators are being arranged.
The number of simulators proposed to be increased is as follows.
At present, there is one simulator in the army and the proposal is made for 98 simulators.
In the Air Force, there are six simulators and proposals made for 44 while in the Navy there are 10 simulators and proposals made for 61.
Rifle Shoot Simulator will now be available in all group headquarters.
With the increasing number of simulators, it is expected that all NCC cadets will get direct training in this matter.
This simulator has been approved and ordered for installation.
In addition, the prime minister is exhibited about the implementation of one year from the ‘NCC Border and its coastal scheme’.
Can be remembered that the Prime Minister has announced on August 15, 2020, from the Red Fortress fortress, that the NCC will be expanded in the border and coastal areas.
A scheme to expand the NCC by one lakh caduna dedicated to the border and coastal region of the country was approved by the Ministry of Defense in September 2020.
The Committee was formed by collecting districts in border and coastal districts as chairperson and relevant stakeholders, including the Panchayat President and local NCC officers As a member to identify schools and colleges in the border area where the NCC must begin under the scheme.
Thus, 1,283 schools and colleges were identified where 896 were in the border and 255 areas in the coastal area and 132 were at the residential air force station.
27 countries and Union regions (UTS) have benefited from the implementation of the scheme.
Apart from the constraints Covid-19, NCC begins in educational institutions which were identified in October 2020.
Associate NCC Officers from these educational institutions are trained both online and in NCC Training Academy in Kampee and Gwalior.
Since Covid-19 does not permit physical training, cadets NCC provides theoretical component through online media.
Wherever schools and colleges have been opened, the physical training is also given.
