New Delhi: India will launch a 100 trillion rupee national infrastructure plan ($ 1.35 trillion) which will help produce work and improve the economy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday.
This program will be called “Gati Shakti” and will help increase industrial productivity, Modi said during his speech at the celebration of independence day in New Delhi.
“We will launch the Master Plan for Gati Shakti, a large program,” Modi said from the red fortress in the capital city.
“A program is worth more than 100 trillion rupees will create employment opportunities for hundreds of thousands,” he added.
